Demonstration exercise by EU inspectors for hazardous materials at the Hifa Petrol terminal in Vogošća

Today, a demonstration exercise by EU inspectors for hazardous materials was held at the Vogošća terminal, in front of the Hifa Petrol headquarters. This important event was attended by more than 40 inspectors from EU countries and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as employees of Hifa Petrol. Over several hours, inspectors demonstrated best practices in the transportation of hazardous materials, detailing prevention and response procedures for potential challenges. A special focus of the exercise was on implementing the EU Directive on uniform procedures for the inspection of road transport of hazardous goods and its connection to other relevant areas, particularly the internal transport of hazardous materials and the Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). The exercise provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge, further enhancing safety standards in the transportation of hazardous materials.
